Living Green is Fairfield's recycling and energy-efficiency plan for our communities. Our goal is to provide opportunities to residents who are interested in making green lifestyle choices. Palacio and Loreto will be Fairfield certified as a Living Green community and will offer the following amenities:

-On-site recycling
-Use of recycled paper in offices and on promotional materials
-Battery and cell phone disposal location
-Using green paper towels and bath tissue



-Motion detectors in models and common areas for reduced energy consumption
-Ceiling fans increase airflow therefore decreasing the need for air conditioning
-Dual-pane windows help regulate room temperature, reducing the need for heat and air conditioning
-Energy saving light bulbs in models and interior common areas

-Low VOC paints
-Environmentally friendly cleaning products



-Carpool communication center
-Bicycle storage area
-Walking distance to public transportation



-Reusable shopping bags provided to residents
